Are your 2021 goals big enough?
Maybe you need to make them audacious.
Those that follow me know I help clients think bigger, reach higher, and do what others claim is “impossible.” One critical step in that process is being willing to set audacious goals.
“Dream up big, hairy, audacious goals that you are passionate about and pursue them relentlessly. You have to begin with the end goal in mind, knowing that a goal is a dream with a deadline.”Clay Clark
Audacious is defined by dictionary.com as
“extremely bold or daring; recklessly brave; fearless:an audacious explorer.extremely original; without restriction to prior ideas; highly inventive:an audacious vision of the city’s bright future.recklessly bold in defiance of convention, propriety, law, or the like; insolent; brazen.lively; unrestrained; uninhibited:an audacious interpretation of her role.”
Unfortunately, too many people set ordinary goals.
Ordinary, as defined in my first book, Chevettes to Corvettes: Unleashing the Ultimate Small Business is middle of the pack, easily forgotten, and ultimately invisible.
We have no advantage when we settle for ordinary.
Ordinary sets safe goals.
But when we are audacious, we set ourselves apart.
In the end, success is our choice.
Are you content with ordinary?
Are you ready to be audacious?
